Neurotrauma Outcomes (within EpiC: 2023-2024)

  • Within the 4-year EpiC main study, we will assess functional outcomes among neurotrauma patients, focusing on those who receive TXA to assess whether TXA is associated with improved outcomes.
  • We will assess mortality in this cohort (7 days and in-hospital mortality).
  • We will also assess morbidity using standardized functional neurologic testing measures, assessed at the time of discharge, and up to 1 year post-discharge.
